The Problem:
One of the most consequential sources of risk — employee misbehavior — is often addressed only after an incident has occurred.
Employee misconduct can lead to compliance violations, internal losses, reputational harm, regulatory scrutiny, and damage to customers’ trust.
The Solution:
The A.C.T. for Banks Program gives banks a proactive, structured, and documented way to identify and address behavior risks before incidents occur.
The A.C.T. for Banks Program is an online assessment, training, and documentation program that is available 24/7/365 at our secure and confidential website.
The A.C.T. for Banks Program is built around two questionnaires:
The A.C.T. Questionnaire (ACT)
Identifies Behavior Risk Attitudes
in four crucial areas
The Accountability and Compliance Engagement Form (ACE)
Trains, Reinforces Expectations, and Documents Accountability
The A.C.T. Questionnaire (ACT) is based on the time-tested and validated Work Attitude Questionnaire (WAQ>) The WAQ is supported by a database of more than 39,000 completed WAQ questionnaires that have been administered to job candidates at banks, credit unions, and many other industries across the United Sates.
The A.C.T. Questionnaire evaluates job-relevant attitudes in four risk-related areas:
Employee theft and fraud
Temper control
Respect for others and interpersonal boundaries
Substance abuse that affects on-the-job behavior
The A.C.T. Questionnaire Results Report gives you objective insight into how high-risk individuals think about these risky attitudes and risky behaviors. You don’t have to rely on intuition, informal observation, or investigation after the fact.
The Accountability and Compliance Engagement (ACE) form is a structured set of prompts that is administered online immediately after the A.C.T. Questionnaire. It defines the reasonable expectations for acceptable behavior in each of the defined risk areas, outlines possible consequences for risky behavior, and provides the opportunity for the candidate to acknowledge and pledge their acceptance of these standards for behavior and accountability.
Together, the ACT and the ACE Help Banks:
Identify employee-related risk earlier
Clarify expectations and reinforce compliance
Document training, accountability, and employee commitment
Reduce exposure to misconduct-related losses
Strengthen workplace culture
Don’t Wait for Misconduct to Reveal the Risk!
The A.C.T. for Banks Program gives your institution a structured way to identify potential risk sooner, train employees more effectively, and document accountability.
